The design team were encouraged to add some of the texture and feel of nearby Shoreditch and Hoxton to CNN’s new London headquarters. I beams, black window framed lightboxes, parquet floor and London brick all feature in the scheme which is arranged around a large central desk that rotates to deliver three different presentation backings. A combination of high resolution LED screens provide both desk backings and explainer positions. Existing columns are totally integrated into the scenery, clad with slim framed LED screens they become foreground information panels and program branding opportunities.
