ITV commissioned Jago Design to produce a flexible set that would function for both ITV News and Good Morning Britain within the same studio at the ITN Headquarters London. The brief focused on the need to refresh and consolidate two very different programmes whilst remaining entirely familiar to the viewer.
The design features a near 360 degree backing that for News can accommodate both National and London Regional News as separate stand alone sets. High res led screens and movable rotating monitors provide clear, vibrant backings and allow for picture in picture branded info graphics and explainer screens. When combined with thoughtfully designed mobile furniture and colour change LED lightboxes, the set functions as a truly flexible broadcast environment that can service both the practical needs and unique aesthetic of News and Good Morning Britain.
