Peston
The Peston set needed to contain three distinct areas, Robert’s desk, an expert opinion area and Anushka’s “screeny” presentation position. It needed to reflect Peston’s bespoke program brand and his upbeat and incisive presentation style. Despite its architectural nature and sense of permanence the set has to be installed and lit in one day and struck once the show is transmitted. The team designed the scenery as a series of self-contained trucks that allowed it to be easily disassembled and stored in the studio scene dock.
