Sky News approached Jago Design to update their Westminster newsroom studio situated opposite the House of Commons in the heart of London. The new design needed to reflect the architecture and minimal set design aesthetic established at the main Sky News campus in Osterley, whilst carefully preserving architectural features of the Grade II listed property.
The set needed to be an engaging flexible space that could utilize the depth of the newsroom and views over Westminster beyond. The completed design incorporates LED column dressing providing the ability to change graphic imagery as required, along with a modern minimal approach to furnishings and surface treatments throughout the space.
