BBC Breakfast and Sport
Both productions share a new glass walled studio in the BBC’s Salford Media City headquarters. The design team continued the “memorable, modern, clean” aesthetic they established for the National News. The main seating area rotates to enable the Breakfast set to be backed entirely by LED wall and the Sports set to be positioned against the sports newsroom. The sofa cushions swap out to match each program brand. Both presentation positions can link to a large explainer screen and tall LED towers provide further “real estate” for graphic displays or social media feeds.
